Chrystal is our head trainer and one of our professional riders here at Lionheart Stables. Chrystal grew up in the equine business around the Tri-State Area, boasting over twenty-five years of experience in riding, equine care, and training both rider and horse. She has ridden a great variety of horses throughout all three rings, competing up to the 1.30m Jumpers and traveling the A Circuit from Saugerties to Wellington. She as well has competed up to 1st Level Dressage. She shares great knowledge in backing and training young horses, her favorite being Off The Track Thoroughbreds. She has trained under renowned trainers from McLain Ward to Anne Kursinski to Michael Dowling. She has also personally trained a variety of riders, no matter the age, interest, or level, from beginner riders up to the rated competitors. She finds great joy in watching her riders excel, both at home and in the show ring, encouraging them to consistently test their skills by riding a variety of horses often and creating goals they look to attain. Morgan is our assistant trainer and one of our professional riders here at Lionheart Stables. Morgan grew up in the equine business and starting riding before she even had the ability to walk, and once she hit age five, she began her passion and excellence, now boasting over twenty-five years of experience. She has ridden a large variety of horses throughout all three rings, competing in hunters, jumpers, as well as Western Pleasure and 3rd Level Dressage. She shares great knowledge in backing and training young horses, her most recent young horse successfully clearing rounds in the jumper ring. At age seventeen, Morgan successfully began her own Special Olympic Equestrian Team in Martin County, Florida, helping the community and taking her students to State and World Competitions all at the same time. She finds great joy in watching her riders excel, both at home and in the show ring, consistently encouraging them to work hard to attain their goals.
