Chrystal is our head trainer and one of the professional riders here at Lionheart Stables. Chrystal grew up in the equine industry, specifically around the Tri-State Area, boasting over thirty years of experience in riding, equine care, and training both rider and horse. She has grand experience competing up to the 1.30m Jumpers and traveling the A Circuit from Saugerties to Wellington. Chrystal, as well, has competed up to 1st Level Dressage. She shares great knowledge in backing and training young horses, her favorite being Off The Track Thoroughbreds. She has trained beginner riders up to the rated competitors and finds great joy in watching her riders excel, both at home and in the show ring, always encouraging her students with positive, yet skillful training.
Morgan is our assistant trainer and one of the professional riders here at Lionheart Stables. Morgan grew up in the equine industry and starting riding before she even had the ability to walk. As a child, she became competitive, now boasting over twenty-five years of experience. She has grand experience competing in the upper-level hunters and jumpers, as well as Western Pleasure and 3rd Level Dressage. She shares great knowledge in backing and training young horses, with one of her own a part of our program. At age seventeen, Morgan began her own Special Olympic Equestrian Team in Martin County, Florida, helping the community and taking her students to State and World Competitions at the same time. She finds great joy in watching her riders excel, both at home and in the show ring, consistently encouraging them to work hard to attain their goals.
Lauren is our marketing manager and one of our competitive team riders here at Lionheart Stables. Lauren has been riding and competing since a child, traveling the nation on the A-Circuit competing up to the 1.10m Jumpers and 3ft Hunter & Equitation. She has extensive experience with diverse horses from Grand Prix Show Jumpers to Off The Track Thoroughbreds. She boasts wins on prestigious tracks from The Sussex County Fair Mini Prix and the USHJA Outreach Festival to top placings at Marshall & Sterling Finals and other year-end awards. She has been our marketing manager since May of 2021 and started her own equine-specialized marketing business, The Marketing Mare, in October of 2022, following through with extensive experience. She is always at the barn, whether helping our team, working on marketing content, or riding and preparing to compete.
